Answers.com buys FAQFarm for 2 Million

Capturing user generated content has not been lost on Answers.com owners. They recently purchased the FAQFarm which is a collective topical wiki.

Answers Corp., the creators of search engine Answers.com, marked its first foray into the popular area of user-generated content by acquiring wiki-based community site FAQ Farm for $2 million. FAQ Farm, founded in 2002, has 280,000 questions and answers written and updated by its 100,000 registered users.
